Artworks March and April

I have been able to  work with pastell colors for the first time in a long time. Curiously, it also  made me enjoy water colors much more again! I feel lile I'm making the best pictures when I  don't care on the outcome at all, just enjoying the process. 

But that's what  life always is about, enjoy the walk and journey, amd whatever is happening, we deal with it, learn and experience, and move on.  Life simply needs to be lived.

 

Rice Planting

Sometimes I dream about just watching everything from above like a bird. Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to fly and feel the wind through the feathers?

Too bad we humans can only imagine that!

Anyway, to see two people harvesting rice was a spontaneous idea, a sudden lightbulb on my mind. So I had to paint it. If not, I would never get such pictures out of my head.

Artworks January to June

Half of 2021 has already passed!

And of course I have found a way to make art each week, sometimes more and sometimes less.

So without further ado, here are some of the work from January to June.

 

For this one I mainly wanted to paint with acrylics, which I haven't done for a long time!

In a story, a Koi came across a waterfall. To continue on his way, he tried to jump over it, and failed and failed. So, he tried to jump over the waterfall for 1000 years. And finally, he did! As a "reward" for his effort and not giving up, he was turned into a dragon.

Spring time, and ladybugs are wonderful!

Just a watercolor landscape.

Another spring time drawing. It took a very long time. I wanted to see the contrast between color and pencil.
